The conceptual world of Design Academy of Eindhoven

Basic informations: Via Friuli 26, exhibition of young designers from Eindhoven Academy.
Finally a place that takes your breath away.
If you guys love conceptual things and velvety atmosphere this is the place where you have to get there.
It ‘s a place that can leave you with two types of sensation:
-Or you become happy and run away home starting suddenl to draw and project cause you were really stimulated or you could start to smoke and whisper to yourselves questions like “Could I arrive at that kind of design?”
I suggest some of the exhibits objects that blur the definitions between Art / Design.

Eveline Visser designs “A city for a mixed bird community” a work that provides for a system of houses for birds with different sizes and their cohesion in a close space. A cohousing bird!

Mine Kafon, a young designer from Afghanistan, presents “Every Life Counts”.
At first I could not give an exact explanation for this ball made of bamboo and laminate but he, with a courteous smile, came to help me in possession of his explanatory vide

He designed machines that are capable of performing mechanical movements with the help of the wind. These machines are designed for Afghanistan landscape and  let them run free in the desert so that it can detect land mines. In fact, he attached a GPS system that allows you to draw maps of the areas viable and in the case but was there a mine blew up throwing the object as a last warning signal of danger. Machines against landmines I think it is his “hug” from a distance to his country.

Akko Goldenbeld, then it is a follower of John Cage, he invented a way to play your town!

He rebuilt the plant  of Eindhoven city in wood and placed it on a rotating cylinder connected to the piano andyou can play your city! If you have a small sum as 10,000 € “the city” sound can enter your home.

The sound was a little moumful but he assured me that it is quite eindhoven!
I find however that it is an object of a unsettling poem.
